Eco coffins Eco caskets

Since my travels in Aotearoa, I have come to the obvious conclusion that Mother Earth is groaning under the weight of our great populace and the ever decreasing size of the world! Whilst I would like to maintain the Underwood family tradition of casket and coffin making by hand for those who desire a bespoke chariot into the afterlife, I am also going to begin to offer biodegradeable caskets and coffins made from recyclable cardboard.

It’s a whole new bag of nails for me, but I`ll be looking into offering completely custom full color designs as well so you still make that special journey in the style which you’ve been accustomed to. The great news is that these coffins will give you all the design freedom you want and they may even be a whole lot cheaper for you!
